SUMMER SKINCARE ROUTINE

A natural glowing skin is the secret behind one's beauty. A proper and regular skincare routine is very necessary to get a healthy and vibrant skin. Different people have different skin types. Based on that the requirement of the skin also varies. There is no universal skincare routine that one can follow. One needs to judge the type of skin she has and meet the requirements of the skin accordingly.
I personally have a oily to combination skin type and my skin is also very sensitive. In this scorching summer heat my skin behaves even more reluctantly. So presently I am on the following skin care routine which I will be sharing today.
1.FACEWASH
The very first step of all skincare is cleansing. Cleaning the face with a gentle yet clensing facewash at least 2times a day is necessary. But people with oily skin tend to wash the face more frequently to get rid of the oil. This is a completely wrong concept. The more you wash the more your skin will produce oil and loose its natural oils. So cleansing the face 2times a day is the perfect thing to do. Currently I am using the 2 facewashes
A. Himalaya purifying neem facewash (left)

B. Ponds pimple clear facewash(right)
Both of them are gentle yet very cleansing, perfect for sensitive skin and also reduces my acne breakouts. You can shop dis from Amazon.in

2.TONER
The second step after cleansing is toning. Specially in summers toners or facial mists prove to be the saviour and hydrates my face and gives a fresh feeling. One of my all time favourites is the Fabindia green tea facial toner. I have been using this since last year and have found amazing results.

3.FACEPACK
Facepacks gives that additional glow and hydration to your skin when your skin looks dull or tired. I prefer using facepacks twice a week accrording to my need.
A. Himalaya neem purifying facepack( left)- this is one of the best for oily acne prone skin and literraly does wonders on breakouts instantly.

B. Nivea total face cleanup( right)- this is a 3 in one cleansing exfoliating face pack which brightens the skin and helps in getting rid of any dirt or dead cells.

4.MOISTURISER
It is a very wrong concept that oily skin doesnt require moisturisers. Moisturisers are a must must to keep the skin properly hydrated and healthy. For oily skin water based moisturisers are more suitable as they are very light weight.
A. Plum mattifying green tea moisturiser( right)- I use this during the day time as it is very light weight and non greasy and works great for normal to oily skin.
B. Lotus payablem papaya and saffron antiblemish creme(left)- I apply this at night to add that extra moisture to my skin overnight. This work wonders on my ance spots and blemishes.

5.FACIAL OIL
Recently i have been a great fan of facial oils. Inapite of having oily skin adding dat extra oil to skin helps in bringing out the natural glow and turns my skin baby soft. Generally i apply facial oil at nightimes, keep it overnight or wash it after 2-3hrs.

6.SUNSCREEN
The final and most important step for my skin care routine is applying a proper sunscreen. You can skip any of the abovesaid products but u can never skip a sunscreen, be it indoors or outdoors. My all time favourite sunscreen is the Neutrogena ultrasheer sunblock with spf50. It is nongreasy, lightweight and gives a more or less matte finish to the face.

7.LIPBALM
Talking of the face, we cannot overlook the lips as none of us like chapped lips. Hydrating and protecting the lips is also a part of skincare. Here i have two options for lipbalms
A. Himalaya lip balm (left)- This one is extremely hydrating and makes the lips baby soft. Perfect for night time use or using before any mattifying lipstick
B.Baby lips electropop in the shade pink shock- this one is highly pigmented and lo g lasting. It serves perfectly when you dont want to apply any lipstick yet add some colour to your lips alongside hydrating them.
