INDO-WESTERN OUTFIT IDEAS : DIWALI SPECIAL
Current day modern women symbolize immense power and
self-confidence which make them suitable to maintain their own strong existence
in this world of diversification. But listening to western music or going to
late night parties….is that all what defines being modern?
Certainly not my friend. Raising your self-esteem and
lifestyle with the current trends alongside nurturing ones’ own cultural norms
and traditional ethnicity to uplift the soul from within makes us the true
person we are. Westernization of culture doesn't necessarily demands to shed off all
our traditional etiquette disregarding the origin of our own roots.
Tradition and modernization goes hand in hand in today's 21st
century. Be it our lifestyle fashion food or entertainment….everywhere there
is an essence of integration of the two cultures.
My today's post is all about this beautiful consequence of
the fusion of eastern and western cultures that has been intricately reflected
on the fashion industry.
Confused about how to rock this years Diwali? No time to go
shopping? Fumbling up on the old pieces of clothes? Bored with traditional
Indian attire?
No worries lovely ladies. Today I will be sharing some
amazing Indo-Western outfit ideas which you can easily recreate from your very
own wardrobe and glam up your Diwali look like never before. Lets make this Diwali a little different from others....the elegant traditional attire westernized in our own way to bring out the perfect confluence of two cultures.
FIRST LOOK
In this look I am wearing this white kurti with the attached
floral printed chiffon cape. Capes are so much in trend this season and goes
perfectly for any Western or traditional look. I have paired this kurti with
solid black culotte pants.
The shocking pink bag with Rajasthani work all over
gives the perfect touch of ethnicity to the look. For accessories I gave gone a
little overboard and glamed up the look with all gold accessories with stone
detailing

SECOND LOOK
For the second look I am wearing the black kurti as a dress,
layering it with the light green jacket. The net detailing in the sleeves makes
the look more elegant. I have completed my look with the thin animal printed
belt and the copper neckpiece, adding that bohemian touch to the look. this look is suitable both for a night time and a daytime occasion.

Jacket- BIBA
THIRD LOOK
The third and the last look is my favorite of all the
three. In this look I have paired the rust colour Kalamkari printed handloom
sari with the stripped top ,which I am wearing as a blouse. The balloon sleeves
of the top makes the look dramatic and compliments the sari. The black clutch
and the terracotta worked chandbalis complete the look
